Data request

Two kinds of person can use this form.

The first is someone with an account, asking about their own data. The second is someone who never signed up here at all, and whose name is sitting on a list because they were invited to a wedding. Both routes are handled — differently, because the law requires it.

We reply here. If you hold an account, use the address on it.

The event name, if the request is about one event rather than the whole account.

Enough for us to find the right records. Do not include payment card details or passwords here.

If you hold an account

We are the controller for your account data, so we act directly: we can tell you what we hold, export it, correct it, restrict it or delete it. Records we must keep for tax purposes — invoices, mainly — survive account deletion because UK law requires it, and nothing else does.

If your name is on someone's list

We are the processor, not the controller. The person who uploaded the list decides what happens to it, and we are not permitted to reach around them and delete a record on the say-so of someone we cannot verify — that protection cuts both ways.

So we pass your request to them without delay, act on their instruction, and tell you that we have done it. If they do not respond, we follow up. If you think they are refusing without a basis, the route to the regulator is open to you, and we will provide what you need for it.

The notice every account holder sees before they paste a single name.

Write to support@maburedeai.shop with the same information. The form is only there to make sure nothing is missing.

Identity checks

We ask for proof of identity only where we genuinely cannot tell who is asking, and we ask for the least that will do. We never ask for card details.

Complaints

You can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk at any time, including before contacting us. If you are in the EEA, your local supervisory authority is also open to you.
